Company Profile_Roles
“Roles” is where to view current roles and add new roles to the company. Changeforce.ai has preset some Roles that can be assigned throughout different sections of the application. These Roles are locked and cannot be edited. To view one of these Roles, click on the role name. The definition for that Role will appear under it as well as in the right hand column. Scroll down in the right hand column to review the preset permissions for the Role. Every permission that is checked is one that is granted to the user.
To add a new Role, click the “+Add Roll” button. The right hand column is where all the information for this Role needs to be added. First enter the “Role Name”.
Under that enter the “Role Description” for this Role.
This box expands so the description can be as long as needed. “Permission Level” is where to select the highest permission level that this Role will have. “Permissions” is where to select the permissions for each section that this user will be granted access.
When done, click the “Save Roll” button. The Role is now created and will appear in the left hand column.
To edit a Role, this can only be done for Roles that are created by an admin. Preset Roles that have been created by changeforce.ai are not editable. Begin by clicking the “Role” and all the information will show up in the right hand column. Make any changes to the information and when done click the “Save Role” button at the bottom. The role has now been updated with the changes.
