What are the login methods available in Mathison?
Mathison offers three login methods: Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google or Office 365, email and password, and Invite Only (default).

Invite Only (default)
Invite Only is the default login method in Mathison. Users can access Mathison only after receiving an invitation from an EP Admin. To log in, users need to accept their invitation and create a password.

Domain Lock or SSO
When Domain Lock, or SSO, is turned on any user on your email domain can access Mathison with Google or Office 365. They do not need to create an account or password.

How can I update my login method?
To update your login method, follow these steps:

- Click on your avatar in the top right corner
- Navigate to Organization Settings

Do you support SAML log in?
Not at this time.

Do you support multi-factor authentication/2FA?
Not at this time, however EPs who have enabled Domain Lock may require 2FA according to their IT policies.

If I have Domain Lock or SSO configured, can I still invite team members?
Not at this time, but you can share the link to Mathison and user just can automatically log in with a matching domain.

If I have Domain Lock on for my domain (z.com), can I send an invitation to someone with a different domain (y.com)?
No, this feature has been deprecated. Users can no longer send invitations to email addresses outside their domain.

If I have Domain Lock turned on, is it possible to send invitations to email addresses outside the EP's domain?
No, sending invitations to email domains outside the EP's locked domain is no longer possible (feature deprecated).

How do I invite new users?
EP Admins (Super Managers or Managers) can directly send invitations to new users they want to add to the platform by going to Organization Settings → Staff Members

Who can send invitations?
Anyone with user management permissions, specifically Managers or Super Managers, can send and resend invitations.
- How can I resend an invitation?
- Go to Organization Settings
- Navigate to the Staff Members Tab
- Locate the user you want to resend the invite to
- Select the three-dot menu on their row
- Choose "Resend Invite"

How long should it take before an invitation email is sent?
After sending an invitation, it may take up to 5 minutes to leave the system and arrive in the user's inbox. However, invitations are typically sent instantaneously. Please be sure to check your spam.

I invited someone but they’re not able to log in.
Users must log in using the same work email mentioned in their invitation and set a password.

My team is locked out of Mathison and I can’t turn off Domain Lock.
This is usually due to a missing approval from your IT team or Mathison’s domains might need to be added to your org’s allow-list. Please reach out to support@mathison.io and we’ll guide you through what to do next.
