ATS User Documentation

Seamlessly integrate your ATS to proactively identify gaps and improve opportunity equity, without needing an analyst. We’ll enhance your existing requisition data to better track vital workforce information, all through our secure platform.

Problem: HR and Hiring managers do not have clear insights into their hiring process. Even though they have data available in their ATS systems, they usually need a data engineer and/or data analyst to sift through the data for meaningful insights.

Our hope is that our product will alleviate this problem by providing you with meaningful insights into your hiring process.

Getting Started

If you'd like to get started on integrating your ATS data - so that we can provide you with invaluable insights into your company's or group's hiring processes - reach out to us and we'll help you get onboarded.

How do we access your ATS data?

The ATS feature integrates with Merge's ATS integration offering (a SOC2 compliant SaaS provider). It provides a comprehensive list of ATS integrations which we can pull data from using Merge. In order for you to benefit from this feature, your organization would need to use one of the ATS providers that Merge has access to.

A Sample of some ATS integrations Mathison provides:

  1. Greenhouse*
  2. Lever*
  3. Oracle Taleo
  4. SAP Success Factors*
  5. SmartRecruiters*
  6. Workable*
  7. Ashby
  8. Breezy*
  9. JazzHR
  10. Tellent
  11. Teamtailor
  12. ApplicantStack
  13. SageHR
  14. Workday*

and many others.

*These may need more time to set up our integration - we may have to fill out an application process.

*We do not collect personal identifiable data and neither does Merge.

Integrating your ATS with Mathison

Once we've confirmed that we can integrate with your ATS, you'll see a new option in the sidebar navigation:

When you navigate to that page, you'll see an intro page with a button that says "Link ATS".

When you click that button, a modal will pop up showing you several ATS systems that you can choose to integrate.

  1. Choose the ATS you use by clicking on its icon.
  2. Go through the process of integrating your ATS (You'll need someone that has admin access to your ATS)
  3. Every ATS has a different process, with some being requiring more steps than others. Before you start we can research what you'll need to get connected.

Once you've successfully integrated your ATS, our data pipeline will start processing your ATS data and start constructing your charts and tables. This process may take from 1 to 5 days depending on the amount of data being ingested or if there are any issues we need to take care of (data needs to be normalized, etc.). You will receive a notification from us when it's ready to view.

Your ATS Dashboard

Once your ATS data has been processed, we'll provide you with:

Table of Requisitions that are currently in your ATS

We'll give you information on their current status, number of applicants, the date it was created, and more (depending on what information we can decipher).

You can sort the table and/or search by keyword or job code.

When you click on a specific row in the table, you'll be taken to the job's data analysis page:

We will provide you the following data:

  1. The total applicants processed by each hiring stage, by gender and ethnicity.
  2. The current "snapshot" of the applicants, based on the latest data and date - by gender and ethnicity.
  3. The total distribution of applicants based on gender, ethnicity, disability, and veteran status (depending on the data we receive from your ATS).

Total Applicants - Cumulative Line Chart

These charts show the total number of applicants, that have gone through each stage of the hiring process, by gender and by ethnicity.

Current Applicant Snapshot

These charts show the current active applicants that are currently in each hiring stage for a particular position - by gender and ethnicity

Total Demographics

This chart shows the total applicants that have applied to the particular job posting by gender, ethnicity, disability status, and veteran status (if data is available).

Future Updates

We're currently in the beta phase of this feature and are rolling it out slowly so that we can get feedback from our beta users as well as fix any data ingestion issues. The features listed above may change as we go through this process.
