How to Edit User Roles & Access
ℹ️ Only Admins can manage user permissions
Edit User Permissions
Admins can edit a both user’s Platform Role and Product Access using the following steps:
- Click your avatar at the top right
- Click Organization Settings →
- Open the
Staff Members
tab - At the top right of the staff table, click
Manage
→Edit Permissions
- Find the user you want to manage
- To edit a user’s
Platform Role
:- In the
Role
column, click the dropdown and select a role - New users are given the
Basic User
role by default
- In the
- To edit a user’s
Product Access
:- In the
EI Access
column, click the dropdown and select role - New users are given
No EI Access
by default
- In the
- Your changes will save automatically

You can edit a user’s permissions right after inviting them. When they create their account and login for the first time, they’ll be ready to go!
