How to Edit User Roles & Access

ℹ️ Only Admins can manage user permissions


Edit User Permissions

Admins can edit a both user’s Platform Role and Product Access using the following steps:

  1. Click your avatar at the top right
  2. Click Organization Settings
  3. Open the Staff Members tab
  4. At the top right of the staff table, click ManageEdit Permissions
  5. Find the user you want to manage
  6. To edit a user’s Platform Role :
    1. In the Role column, click the dropdown and select a role
    2. New users are given the Basic User role by default
  7. To edit a user’s Product Access :
    1. In the EI Access column, click the dropdown and select role
    2. New users are given No EI Access by default
  8. Your changes will save automatically

😎 Pro Tip

You can edit a user’s permissions right after inviting them. When they create their account and login for the first time, they’ll be ready to go!
